Flight to CairoEgypt to Jeddah
Upon arrival we will first visit the EgyptMuseum to see collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. Next visit the Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx afterwards the Papyrus Factory, then transfer and check-in to hotel.
We will now start our tour with a visit to Old Cairo, the home of Cairo’s CopticChristianChurches. Abu Serga is where the Holy Family stayed for 3 months after they fled from Israel, next stop is the Hanging Church or also known as the Suspended Church. It is called the HangingChurch since it was built on the southern gate of the Roman Fortress. Next is the The Church of St. George, a Greek Orthodox church in Coptic Cairo. It was originally built in the 7th century, but the current structure was re-built following a 1904 fire. St. George is the only round church in Egypt. Next is the Egyptian Cotton Shop, where you can buy good cotton fabric and for our last stop is for last minute souvenir shopping at the Khan El Khalili Market Bazaar, then we head back to hotel.
On this day, we will check-out very early and depart the hotel, as we will have a long drive to the St. Catherine & Dahab areas. Upon arrival, we will check in and you can relax using resort hotel’s amenities.
Breakfast and check out then we will proceed to Mt. Sinai, the mountain at which the Ten Commandments were given to Moses by God. We will now head to St. Catherine Monastery and Burning Bush from which God first revealed himself to Moses to call to lead his people out from Egypt. After have an overnight stay in Bethlehem.
Have an energizing breakfast we will visit today Bethlehem (churches, basilica.) the Church of the Nativity, The Shepherds Field, Milk of Grotto, Jericho Judean Dessert (Mount of Temptation). Overnight in Bethlehem.
After breakfast, we will have another great adventure and more to discover. We will visit first the Old City &experience the past while visiting its historical quarters and enjoy its unique architecture full of beautiful ornaments and decorations. We head to galicantu where Pater Noster Church is located. Next we head to St. Ann Church of Ascension, and then we will visit the Tomb of Blessed Virgin Mary,and then head to the Gethsemane Garden. Gethsemane is an urban garden at the foot of Mount of Olives in Jerusalem and famous place where Jesus prayed while his disciples slept the night before his crucifixion (where the agony in the garden took place). We head to the Mount of Olives, covered with ancient olive trees,is north of Mt. Zion has breathtaking views of the Old City, the City of David and Kidron Valley. It was there that Jesus encouraged his disciples and gave them their instructions after he would be crucified. We travel back to Bethlehem after an amazing adventure.
This morning we will travel along the Sea of Galilea to a place where Jesus believed to teach in the Synagogues, preach the gospel, and heal the sick.Capernaum is a small town near Galilee where Jesus performed miracles and preach the gospel. We will head to Mount Beatitudes, believed to be the setting for Jesus most famous discourse, the “Sermon on the Mount”, and is one of the most beautifully serene places in the Holy Land. Next location is Tabgha& Bethsaida, the site where Jesus fed 5,000 people with loaves of bread and two fish. We then visit the Church of Transfiguration before we travel for an hour going to Nazareth. Visit Cana, the place where Jesus performed his first miracle. We will head to the Wedding Church and after we proceed to Church of Annunciation, Synagogue Church & St. Gabriel’s Church where Mary’s Well where the Virgin Mary received the news that she will give birth to Jesus.
After an energizing breakfast we will visit the place where Jesus Christ Baptismal Site at the JordanValley (Qasr Al-Yahud). Based on the bible, this is the MOST ACCURATE Baptismal Site of our Savior then we will transfer to Sheikh Hussein Bridge crossing into Jordan. We head to Madaba were they call the “City of Mosaic” and then we proceed to Mt. Nebo believed to be the burial place of Moses. It was a place of pilgrimage for early Christians and the first church was built here in the 4th century. Stand at the top of the mountain as Moses did when he first saw the Promised Land and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley, The Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and Jericho. We head to Amman for overnight stay.
After your hotel breakfast we will now proceed to the “LostCity” of Petra. The journey to the Petra begins at the Bab as-Siq which means the Gate of the Siq or Outer Siq; it is a modern gravel road, it is mostly a white rock with with subtle earth tones of brown and beiges. Then we will go through the Siq or also known as Thaniya which means a small crack in a mountain. Next is Al Khazna or also called as The Treasury it is almost 40 meters high and the locals believed that it contains the pharaoh’s treasure. Along the way, we will be see the Street of Facades which is home of the Nabatean tombs – Royal tomb, Palace Tomb, and Corinthian Tomb. Then we willwalk to the Colonnaded Street, which was built in 106 BC and has a width of 6 meters. Next location is the GreatTemple; it represents one of the major archaeological components of the central Petra. Last stop is The Monument; one of the largest monuments in Petra. Return to Amman for an overnight stay.
After breakfast we will transfer QueenAliaInternationalAirport for your flight to Jeddah to connect to Manila.
